We did not set out to become a typical fit-out company.
So we did not.
CCWS was built around a simple idea: the workplace industry could be more creative, more straightforward and considerably more enjoyable to work with.
Too many projects were being divided between designers who did not build, contractors who had not designed and layers of consultants protecting their own little corner of the process.
We wanted something different: a business where creative thinking and practical delivery sat at the same table; where clients could speak directly to experienced people; where a project could be commercially disciplined without becoming creatively dull; and where nobody needed a dictionary to understand the proposal.
That became CCWS:

Today we work across workplace design, fit-out, refurbishment, space planning, landlord and tenant projects, managed workspace and ongoing support. We are experienced enough to know what can go wrong — and still curious enough to ask whether there is a better way.

Gerald brings financial control, commercial discipline and continuity to the business. He supports project governance, company finance and the clear reporting that allows creative and construction decisions to be made with their commercial consequences understood.

Design Director
Amy leads the creative direction of CCWS and has spent more than a decade shaping workplaces that balance identity, experience and practical performance.
Her approach starts with understanding how a business actually works rather than imposing a predetermined style. With a background spanning art, furniture and commercial interiors, Amy combines intuitive concept development with the technical information required to turn an idea into a buildable scheme. The result is a workplace that feels individual to the organisation — not like the same catalogue with a different logo on reception.

David Keane
Founder & Managing Director
David founded CCWS with a belief that workplace projects could be delivered differently: strong design, commercial understanding and construction experience without the unnecessary layers common across the industry.
He leads the commercial and delivery side of the business and remains closely involved from the earliest conversations through to completion, particularly where budget, risk, technical challenges and programme need to come together. Direct, practical and rarely interested in doing something simply because that is how it is normally done, David has built long-term relationships with clients who value creative thinking and straight answers.

Experience, compliance and control
Clients trust CCWS with buildings, budgets, programmes and people. Our projects are supported by structured pre-construction information, site management, risk assessments and method statements, inductions, permits, inspections, testing, commissioning and handover records appropriate to the scope.
We coordinate with landlords, property managers, building control, consultants and specialist contractors, and we work within live-building rules, access restrictions, noisy-work windows and tenant interfaces where required.
Current company, insurance and accreditation information is supplied through the tender or due-diligence process so clients receive the documents relevant to their project and appointment.
